he Charity for Balkan Children has recently had a wonderful opportunity to visit Vranje and the Shelter for Children and Youth Olivera Verica Đorđević. While there, we met up with special education teacher Jovana Petrović and Ivana Tasić, the director of the Institute for the Development of Social Protection Services in Vranje.

In today’s digital age, social media platforms have become a ubiquitous part of our lives. As parents, it’s natural to want to share the joys and milestones of our children with friends and family.

At our Charity for Balkan Children, we are on a mission to create a positive impact in the lives of Balkan children. One of our endeavors is the Shelter for Children in Belgrade, where we provide a safe haven and essential support to those in need. However, the question arises: Should iPads really be used for children under 5 years old? Are preschool-aged children sufficiently mature for this modern technology?
