14. Over $15,000 donated for Radmila Nedić Kindergarten in Berane, Montenegro

When I first walked into the Radmila Nedić Kindergarten in Berane, I honestly didn’t expect to leave thinking about it for weeks.

The teachers showed us classrooms where hundreds of children spend their days learning, playing, eating, and resting. What should have been a warm environment had become difficult to ignore - old chairs, worn-out tables, and beds that had served generations of children.

BEFORE:

We knew immediately that this wasn’t a project we wanted to postpone.

When we first shared the campaign, our goal felt almost impossible.

Furniture is expensive.

Really expensive.

Yet something beautiful happened.

People started believing in this project as much as we did.

Some donated online.

Some shared the campaign.

Others donated baked goods, volunteered, or simply told a friend about what we were trying to accomplish.

Our Bake Sale at Little Legends, our International Women’s Day fundraiser, generous donations from individuals, and support from our partners - including Sava Gastro Switzerland & Pure Freight Lines Ltd. USA - all became pieces of the same puzzle. Every event, every baked good purchased, every donation, no matter how small, slowly moved us closer to our goal.And today, we’re incredibly proud to say:
